The Aditya Birla Group's cement production for the period April-December
2007 has moved up by 4.18 per cent at 226.94 lakh mt as against
217.84 lakh mt during April-December 2006. Dispatches grew by
4.13 per cent at 226.35 lakh mt in April-December 2007 vis-a-vis
217.37 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.
Cement
production and dispatches for the month of December 2007 stood
at 26.15 lakh mt and 27.00 lakh mt, registering a growth of
4.13 per cent and 7.66 per cent over December 2006 respectively.
