The
Aditya Birla Group’s cement production for the period April-October
2008 has moved up by 1.87 per cent at 176.16 lakh mt as against
172.93 lakh mt during April-October 2007. Dispatches grew by
1.92 per cent at 175.24 lakh mt in April-October 2008 vis-a-vis
171.95 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.
Cement
production for the month of October 2008 rose by 4.83 per
cent at 26.09 lakh mt. Dispatches are up by 1.93 per cent
at 25.37 lakh mt over October 2007.
