The Aditya Birla Group’s cement production for the period
April-March 2009 has moved up by 5.94 per cent at 324.14 lakh
mt as against 305.96 lakh mt during April-March 2008. Dispatches
grew by 5.85 per cent at 323.41 lakh mt in April-March 2009
vis-à-vis 305.54 lakh mt in the corresponding period
last year.
Cement production
for the month of March 2009 rose by 12.39 per cent at 34.04
lakh mt. Dispatches are up by 11.24 per cent at 33.70 lakh mt
over March 2008.
