Cement performance for January 2010

The Aditya Birla Group’s cement production for the period April-January 2010 has moved up by 16.52 per cent at 303.95 lakh mt as against 260.86 lakh mt during April-January 2009. Dispatches rose by 16.43 per cent at 303.33 lakh mt in April-January 2010 vis-à-vis 260.52 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.

Cement production for the month of January 2010 is higher by 12.48 per cent at 34.19 lakh mt, and dispatches, at 34.28 lakh mt, by 14.04 per cent over January 2009.
