Cement performance for March 2010

The Aditya Birla Group’s cement production for the period April-March 2010 has moved up by 15 per cent at 372.71 lakh mt as against 324.18 lakh mt during April-March 2009. Dispatches rose by 15 per cent at 372.22 lakh mt in April-March 2010 vis-a-vis 323.41 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.

Cement production for the month of March 2010 is higher by 7.6 per cent at 36.64 lac mt, and dispatches are at 36.96 lakh mt, an increase of 9.7 per cent over March 2009.
