Free blankets were distributed by the members of Birladham Ladies Club to 450 beneficiaries in a special programme organised by Birla Cellulosic, Kharach

A total of 450 beneficiaries comprising 169 female and 281 male members were supported during the blanket distribution programme, conducted at Koba and Balota villages, to mark the occasion of Pujya Kakoji (Shri Basant Kumar Birla’s 98th birthday on 12th January 2019).

The members of Birladham Ladies Club distributed the blankets in the presence of the village sarpanch and respective village leaders.

The CSR team of Birla Cellulosic also conducted a free eye check-up camp at Kharach village, Bharuch (district) in Gujarat. The camp was held in association with Divya Jyoti Trust, an NGO in Mandavi on 23rd January 2019.
