CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization, with over 9,000 members from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 300,000 enterprises from 294 national and regional sectoral industry bodies.

For more than 125 years, CII has been engaged in shaping India's development journey and works proactively on transforming Indian Industry's engagement in national development.

The CII Industrial Intellectual Property Award aims at the recognition and celebration of enterprises, which have championed IP generation and protection to fuel their business and economic growth. The Awards follow a five-stage funnel process and the Jury for these prestigious awards consists of eminent academicians, consultants and experts with established credentials in the field of IPR from India and abroad.

Dr Ragunath Mashelkar, Former Director General, CSIR & Chairman of Grand Jury, CII Industrial Intellectual Property Awards 2023 & Pratibha Singh, Justice High Court, Delhi presented the award.
